We're excited to shout out some new shows using Simplecast. From world history and film to Instagram marketing–go give them a listen!

Pete's History of the World With Explosions!!

It's hard not to be charmed by Pete, and 8-year-old podcaster living in Maine. Pete's History of The World is produced entirely by Pete Mote with extremely limited (if any) direction from grown-ups. The grown-ups just help with the technical stuff.

Alyssa Milano: Sorry Not Sorry

"Sorry Not Sorry tackles social, political and cultural issues from the perspective of unapologetic guests while highlighting activists doing amazing things throughout the country."

Filminist

"Filminist Pod is a new intersectional feminist film podcast all about women in film. It’s hosted and created by New York City-based film journalist, Alyssa Klein. The format is simple: each episode is a conversation with a woman in film, from actors, writers, directors and producers to stuntwomen, camerawomen, critics, animators, film students, grips, women who work at movie theaters — any woman who works in film in some capacity and has a story to share with the world. Together, Filminist Pod is building an intersectional community of people who love movies."

Your Undivided Attention

"Technology companies are locked in an arms race to seize your attention, and that race is tearing apart our shared social fabric. In this inaugural podcast from the Center for Humane Technology, hosts Tristan Harris and Aza Raskin will expose the hidden designs that have the power to hijack our attention, manipulate our choices and destabilize our real world communities. They’ll explore what it means to become sophisticated about human nature, by interviewing hypnotists, magicians, experts on the dynamics of cults and election hacking and the powers of persuasion. How can we escape this unrelenting race to the bottom of the brain stem?"

I Make A Living

"This podcast is designed to be a safe space where small business owners, entrepreneurs, freelancers and self-employed folks can have honest and meaningful conversations about what “making a living” means to them. The topics and conversations in each episode revolve around the self-employed community, your community. We discuss success stories, struggles, pitfalls, surprises, useful techniques, helpful insights, failures and so much more."

Cafe con Pam

"Cafe con Pam is the weekly podcast featuring fearless Latinx and People of Color that break barriers, change lives and make the world a better place while living in the US. Cafe con Pam is the platform where Latinx are able to share their stories and inspire one another through conversation of course while enjoying a fabulous cup of coffee."

'Grammer School

"Live stream video, social media professional, and business owner Todd Bergin aka Todd.LIVE is the host of 'Grammer School, the first ever Instagram Live show and podcast focusing exclusively on Instagram marketing for small business and entrepreneurs."

An Alien in Hollywood

"An Alien in Hollywood is the story about the life and times of legendary filmmaker and “Godfather of Hollywood science fiction” Ronald Shusett. Unless you’re a Hollywood behind-the-scenes aficionado you've probably never heard of Ron. He is no less than the man who co-created, wrote, and produced three of the most influential, iconic and mind-blowing science fiction blockbusters in film history – Alien, Total Recall and Minority Report. His movies have grossed over one and a half billion dollars, have launched the careers of Sigourney Weaver and Ridley Scott, and turned Arnold Schwarzenegger into the #1 box office star in the world."
