Caroline Mincks

Caroline Mincks has been acting all their life, and directing children's theater for seven years. In 2019 they made the transition to audio fiction, where they rapidly made a name for themself as an actor, writer, director, and producer of original work. Caroline has garnered particular attention with their exploration of late-onset deafness in the show Seen and Not Heard, a slice-of-life fiction piece drawn from their own experiences. Seen and Not Heard, which Caroline writes, directs, and stars in, has won an Audio Verse Award (Best Writing for a New Audio Play) and been featured in The Bello Collective, The New York Times, Discover Pods, and The Atlantic, and represents an unusual exploration of the strengths and limits of audio as a medium.
