Our very own Grace Kane, Director of Business Development for Simplecast & AdsWizz, spoke to podcasters who have embraced marketplace monetization as an effective and rewarding way to sustain their shows. That means they tackled misinformation, like whether podcast listeners actually hate hearing ads that aren’t host-read, and discussed how to get started as an independent podcast creator.
Simplecast BIPOC Meetup & Luncheon

This ticketed lunch and networking event, produced in partnership with the BIPOC Podcast Creators team, has become a staple we provide at Podcast Movement! The aim is to bring together this diverse community and its advocates to share experiences, best practices, new skills, and simply connect with knowledge and empathy.

Sounds Profitable’s Head of Content and Simplecast blog writer Gavin Gaddis stopped by to discuss the current state of adtech, adtech misconceptions, and look ahead to the back half of the year with insights for creators, publishers and advertisers. As an interview with Aimi Knowling, our Podcast Sales Marketing Senior Manager, we can now share all these expert insights from an adtech expert who has been a media critic, indie creator, podcast producer, and editor.
